As a Holistic Health Counselor, Dave Tyler is your personal advocate for living a passionate and energetic life. Whatever your concerns are, Dave is here to help you find which food and lifestyle choices will work best for you and the life you desire.  While most dietitians dwell on calories, carbs, fats, proteins, restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, Dave works with clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and discipline.

Dave has been eating food his entire life.  In 2009 he graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where he studied under the expert guidance of today’s top health and wellness professionals including Dr Neal BarnardT. Collin Campbell, Deepak Chopra, Dr John Doulliard, Dr Mehmet OZ, Dr Barry Sears, Dr Andrew Weil, Dr Walter Willett and many others. In addition to being an expert in holistic health care counseling he received certification from the Board of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).

Dave is now accepting new clients.  If you have any questions or if you would like to learn how you can receive a free health evaluation please fill out the form on our contact page.  You can also always send Dave an email directly.

A Few Comments…

My Holistic Approach

I practice a holistic approach to nutrition, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As we work together, we look at how all parts of your life affect the whole.

No One Diet Works For Everyone

Ever wonder why all those diet books are best sellers every year around resolution time or the summer beach season?  The concept of bio-individuality is that each person has their own nutritional needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it’s too much of a generalization. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets don’t work in the long run. I look at your age, health, activity level, blood type, metabolic rate and personal preferences to determine your dietary needs.

Everything Is Food

Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary.
